How the app uses data

This page is about the Bundles app for Shopify, made by Web Weirdos. You can write to us at hello@webweirdos.com.

What the app reads from your store

• Your products: their names, pictures, prices and variants. The app needs them to show your offers and work out their prices.
• The app's own discount, which takes the offers' savings off at checkout.
• Your orders, for one thing only: to count how much the app's offers sold in each billing month. The app is free until they sell $500 in a month. It reads each order's lines, prices and discounts. It never reads a buyer's name, email, phone or address.

What the app keeps

• On our server: your store's sign-in, which is your store's Shopify address and the key Shopify gives the app. Nothing else.
• In your own store, in the app's data at Shopify: your offers, and this month's total of what the offers sold.
• Nothing about any buyer, anywhere.
• The chat on the app's Help page stays in your browser. It is gone when you leave the page.

Your buyers

The offer on your product page runs in the buyer's browser. It reads the offer from your page and adds items to the cart through your theme. It sends nothing to our server and sets no cookies.

Who else handles data

• Shopify runs your store, the app's discount and the app's billing.
• Amazon Web Services hosts our server in the United States. Its disk is encrypted.
• ExchangeRate-API gives us each day's exchange rates, so a sale in another currency can be counted in dollars. We send it nothing about you or your buyers.
• Anthropic runs the assistant on the app's Help page. When you ask it something, your question, the chat before it, your store's name, your offers, this month's total and whether the app works for you go to Anthropic, so it can answer. Anthropic does not use them to train its models. Nothing about your buyers goes to it.

We never sell data. We share it with nobody else.

How long we keep it

• Your store's sign-in is deleted when you uninstall the app.
• Shopify removes the app's data from your store when you uninstall the app. Two days after, Shopify asks us to erase your store's data, and we delete anything that is left.
• Each month's total is replaced by the next month's.

What you can ask

You can ask us what we keep about your store, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@webweirdos.com. A buyer's request reaches us through Shopify. We keep nothing about buyers, so there is nothing to give or to delete.

Security

Everything the app sends and receives goes over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Our server's disk is encrypted.
