Days, markets and customers
An offer can run only for some days, and only for some buyers.
Days: set a first day and a last day. Before the first day and after the last, the offer does not show and takes nothing off. The product then shows the next offer it falls under. The days are your store's, in its time zone, and the offer runs to the end of its last day. Leave both empty to run from Publish until Unpublish.
Countdown: with a last day set, switch on "Count down to the last day". Under the offer's heading buyers see the time left, like "Ends in 2 days 04:13:22", in their language, ticking. It counts to the end of the last day in your store's time zone, the moment the checkout stops taking the offer off. At the end it is gone, and nothing restarts it. There is no countdown without a last day, so it never says something that is not true.
Markets: if your store has more than one market, the offer can be only for some markets, or for every market but some. The markets are the ones in Settings, Markets. A buyer is in a market when your store is shown for one of its countries. A market made of states or provinces cannot be chosen.
Customers: the offer can be only for customers with some tags, or for every buyer but them. Capitals do not matter. A buyer has tags only when signed in, so a guest has none.
A buyer the offer is not for sees the next offer the product falls under, if there is one. To see an offer as a buyer would, choose a country of its market in the country picker of your store.
