Words on a tier: name, subtitle and badge
Each tier has three lines of words. You write them in the editor.
- Name: the buyer sees it on the product page, in the cart and at checkout. It is the name of the discount at checkout, so keep it short and clear, like "Buy 2, save 10%".
- Subtitle: a line under the name, like "You save {{saved}}".
- Badge: a short label next to the name, like "Most popular". Leave it empty to show none.
The subtitle and the badge can say the figures of the tier. Write one of these words in double braces and the app puts the real figure in:
- {{saved}}: what the buyer saves
- {{percent}}: the share that comes off
- {{price}}: what the buyer pays
- {{was}}: the price without the offer
- {{each}}: the price of one item
- {{count}}: how many items the tier holds
A line that speaks of a saving is left out on a tier that saves nothing, so the first tier never says "You save $0.00".
To show the price of one item, which some countries ask for, write {{each}} in the subtitle, like "Only {{each}} each". Write the words around it in your own language: the Languages page lets you translate them.
The name cannot use these words, because the checkout cannot fill them in. A word the app does not know, like {{savd}}, stops Publish and says where.
